random

My whole life I’ve been encouraged to guard my heart from the wrong man, but sometimes I just want to go on a date, ya know?!

been a weird, weird day.

Trippin

I’ve made a big realization today.
I’m an obsessive person.
I obsessive over everything
Work
Coworkers
Eating healthy
Working out
A certain boy (whoever it happens to be at the time)
Whatever I’m currently saving for
Characters from movies or books
Tv shows
A certain meal from any particular restaurant
Fall
CHRISTMAS
Anyways. I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing. I need to be more obsessed with the bible and learning gods word. Hmm.

Oy Vey.

It’s terrible to have people say terrible things about you.

Being the victim of some verbal hatred these past few weeks has made me seriously realize how evil and destructive bad-talking others is.
Something positive I’m taking from it all is that it’s time to come clean about my own bad-talk and do my absolute best to not speak of others in a negative way.
God, please help me.

Free Download: Edward Scissorhands Fan Art by MichaelChoiArt at Deviantart here. Black ink on white paper drawing, pretty high resolution download. It’s been posted on Tumblr before without giving credit to the source (I found it in 15 seconds) so they missed the free download part - that’s why I like to know the source. I also found it for Paper Sparrow’s Tim Burton Blog Party and no, my real name is not Jules.

ugh, mom I feel like a tub of lard.”
“oh honey, don’t be silly, you’re a tub of love.”
Hahaha

Blessings

God is confusing. Haha.
Life is full of seasons. For me, they’ve either been blissful or full of trials. However right now the season I’m in is equally joyful and heartbreaking.
I’m so blessed to have a full-time job, especially one that I love! I’m lucky to have two parents who love me and encourage me to pursue the things I enjoy. I’m blessed to be playing on a soccer team with awesome girls.
On the other hand, both of my brothers are getting divorced and my favorite aunt just got a double mastectomy to try and cure her newly diagnosed breast cancer. Just typing that made my heart hurt.
I’ve never been filled with such sadness, this is the deepest sorrow i’ve ever known.
But for some reason; I know God will calm the storm, as he has already calmed my spirit.
